I bought a brand new 2020 Ram 2500 with the 6.7 diesel. The truck drove great for the first 9,000 miles. Then the truck developed a driveline noise when going from drive to coast.

Based on data from 124 vehicles, 3,783 fuel-ups and 1,122,560 miles of driving, the 2020 Ram 2500 gets a combined Avg MPG of 14.19 with a 0.14 MPG margin of error.

Over 1,051.8 miles, our big Ford F-250 averaged 14.8 mpg. The 2020 Ram HD 2500 6.4L Gas . The big Ram comes with FCA’s tried and true 410 hp 6.4-liter HEMI V8 that makes 429 lbs-feet of torque.

This is a brand new, 2018 Dodge RAM 2500 with 6.4L Hemi gas engine, 6 speed automatic transmission and 373 gears….. My comparison is with my recently traded 2006, 5.9L Dodge 2500 diesel with 4 speed automatic transmission and gear ratio unknown….This truck went 198,600 miles and throuighout its life, towing trailers from 3K pounds to 12K pounds it always averaged 12mpg while towing.

Have had my 2019 2500 Bighorn 4x4 w/ the 6.4 and 3.73's for about seven months. Since new, have 6280 miles total with about 2500 of those towing a 9000 lb travel trailer. One trip up to the Ozarks in Arkansas and one to Florida. Plus a couple short, 300 mile total, local camping trips Average mpg according to the computer is 15.8.
