In the Cryogenic process, natural gas is cooled to condense the Ethane and heavier hydrocarbons, and then it is distilled to remove any condensed Methane. The process includes heat exchangers to provide this cooling and compression/pumps to bring the residue gas and NGL up to sales pressures.
