I have a 2016 Silverado with the 5.3 v8 and AFM (active fuel management). I can get ethanol free gasoline at a nearby station for approximately 50 cents more per gallon. I don't see any extra mileage locally, but I do see an extra 3 or 4 miles per gallon highway when I use the ethanol free gas.

Do the math with your own vehicle. 15% more money for (claimed) 5% better consumption is not worth it in the absence of any other factors. If the vehicle is older than the 1990's then MAYBE there might be material compatibility issues. Newer ones shouldn't have a problem with 10% ethanol.
