Techron is the additive used in our gasoline (petrol). Chevron, Texaco and CalTex are all Chevron brands and always contain Techron. Detroit automakers haul in truck loads of Chevron with Techron gasoline when the want to pass their Federal emissions testing of new cars. So, my answer is yes, Chevron is better in all ways
